Associate Vice Chancellor: Emily C. Wren


Emily C. Wren Biography Emily Wren, Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities at IUPUI, has served in this capacity since 1990. Emily directs and administers Campus Facility Services in the operations of 5 million square feet of space located on 509 acres. She leads approximately 500 employees in the provision of parking and transportation, maintenance, cleaning, grounds, utilities management and small renovation management (project cost of less than $150,000) services.

Emily is the campus liaison with the various corporate facility functions such as the University Architect’s Office and Real Estate and Economic Development, and, oversees campus space management. Emily is very active in the Indianapolis community. She serves on the board of directors for the following organizations: The Damien Center, the Indiana Retirement Home, and the Indiana University Women’s MBA Advisory Board.

Emily is also active in the Association of Physical Plant Administrators; long term member of the Education Committee as well as former chair and faculty member for the Facilities Management Institute. She received her undergraduate and masters degrees from Purdue University and her MBA from Indiana University.
