Lights - One four lamp fixture uses $39 per year to operate if left on all the time. The same fixture uses $11 per year to operate if turned off nights and weekends.
Computers - One workstation with flat panel monitor uses $28 per year to operate if left on all the time. The same system uses $9 per year to operate if in standby mode during nights and weekends.
Fans - One fan on high speed operating during the day, but off during nights and weekends, uses $3 per year to operate.
No Space Heaters - space heaters interfere with building temperature control as well as consume energy
